FAQ
How do I play Memory Merge?
Flip any two face-down cards. If their values match, they merge into one card with double the value; if not, they flip back. Keep matching pairs until the whole board collapses to a single card.
What happens when two cards match?
The two equal cards merge into one card with double the value (2+2 → 4, 4+4 → 8, and so on), placed on the board. If the doubled card matches a card already face-up, the chain continues automatically.
Can I get stuck?
A matching pair is always hidden on the board, so you can never be truly stuck. If you lose track of the layout, use the shuffle button to re-randomize the remaining cards — it costs one move.
What is a perfect clear?
A perfect clear means merging all 16 cards down to a single card. The value of that final card is your best tile, and your moves and time are saved as your best score.
Is Memory Merge free to play?
Yes, completely free.
Does it save my best score?
Yes. Your best result — fewest moves and fastest time — is stored in your browser's local storage on your own device.
