Is there a daily word?
Yes. DAILY mode serves the same fixed word to every player each day (seeded by the date), so you can compare results with friends. Your attempt is remembered on your device until the next day's puzzle.
When do I lose a life?
A guess only costs a life when it reveals nothing new: every tile comes back grey and none of your letters appear in the hidden word. Any guess that earns a green or yellow clue is free.
How does the letter feedback work?
Green means the letter is in the right position, yellow means it is in the word but misplaced, and grey means it is not in the word. Duplicates are counted like Wordle: a repeated letter only lights up as many times as it actually appears.
Can I replay the daily word?
You get one attempt at each day's word — it is the same for everyone. When you finish, Hangwordle remembers your result and unlocks a fresh word the next day.
